Saturday, September 26 www.sdoutdored.org

The Cuyamca Outdoor School is having its Annual Open House on Saturday, September 26th.  Anyone with the group that can help spread the word to those interested in attending would be appreciated.  The Outdoor School staff will be giving tours of the campus, an architectural walk through of the LEED GOLD camp expansion, field interprative hikes, and outdoor classroom demonstrations.  A few other exciting things happening that day to take note:

 - LEED GOLD Campus Expansion groundbreaking ceremony will take place at noon, which will include Gov. Schwarzenager's San Diego representative, Superintendent Randy Ward, County Office Board of Directors and others.  I'm personally thrilled to honor Target at this event as our first major sponsor to support Outdoor School!  

 - REI has sponsored the transportation of 6 busses for children and their families to attend the Open House.  We are coordinating with several schools from San Ysidro, Chula Vista, South Bay and Oside to arrange this great opportunity.
